Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills featured Dorit Kemsley at the center of the drama. She is feuding with several cast members between shopping trips. And now her former RHOBH co-star, Crystal Kung Minkoff, shared a secret about Dorit.

Once again, Dorit’s friendship with her former bestie, Kyle Richards, was on the brink. Meanwhile, this isn’t a new storyline, as we have seen it for the past couple of seasons.

Dorit Kemsley “constantly smoked” while filming Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

During Season 14, Dorit was filmed smoking while in her car. The news of her separation from PK Kemsley was public, and Dorit was stressed. While some hailed Dorit’s cigarette moment as iconic, Dorit had another explanation. “I was actually being chased by paparazzi,” Dorit previously said of the incident.

However, Crystal revealed that Dorit has quite a smoking habit that predated her split from PK. During her Humble Brag podcast, Crystal dropped all the details. “Dorit smoking … Like, she just constantly smoked. But we … were not allowed to talk about it,” Crystal stated. “We’re like, ‘Okay.’ And they’re like, ‘Wait, everyone, pause. She’s gonna go smoke.’”

The RHOBH alum claimed, “That’s why I think we wait for her a lot. She’s smoking. I swear to God, that’s why – she’s smoking.” Well, that could explain Dorit’s habit of showing up late.

Crystal continued, “So then it was like suddenly she just became like a smoker and everyone’s like, ‘Oh my God, yeah!’” Once, Crystal asked someone why they were waiting. “And they’d be like, ‘No, no, no, just don’t talk about it. No one knows she smokes.’ I’m like, ‘Okay, except all 400 people here,'” Crystal quipped. “But like, sort of that was indicative of the show, like that kind of thing.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the next day.
