Model Gisele Bündchen married Jiu-Jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.

The ceremony was held in private at home in November.

They welcomed a child this year.

Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente have gotten married after three years together. The news was reported by Page Six on Dec.19, who stated they were wed in a secret ceremony in November, surrounded by friends and family at their home in Surfside, Florida.

The couple welcomed a son in early 2025. Bündchen also shares two children with her ex-husband, Tom Brady, 15-year-old Benjamin Rein and 12-year-old Vivian Lake. When news of Bündchen’s pregnancy broke in October 2024, a source told People, “Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family.”

Bündchen was first seen with the Jiu-Jitsu instructor in November 2022, a month after filing for divorce from Brady. They reportedly started dating in June 2023 after developing a close friendship.

In February 2024, a source told People, “Joaquim is a great guy. He is down to earth, kind and inspiring. Gisele was hesitant about dating after the divorce. It’s been very natural for her to date Joaquim.”

The insider continued, “They come from similar backgrounds. They both left Brazil very young. They have both created amazing lives for themselves in the U.S. They both love Miami, but also enjoy traveling. They both enjoy healthy living. Gisele's in a great space. She is happy and very much enjoying life. Joaquim is perfect for her.”

The model said something very similar in her own words during an interview with The New York Times

“This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first,” she explained. “It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.”
