- Helen Mirren has broken her silence amid reports of tension behind the scenes of Paramount+ series *MobLand*.
- Mirren shared a post on Instagram noting her affection for costar Tom Hardy.
- Multiple reports have emerged claiming Hardy's alleged tardiness on set has ruffled feathers with the cast and crew, with one report asserting he was fired from the show.
Helen Mirren has broken her silence amid reports of tension on the set of *MobLand*.
The Oscar-winning actress shared a photo of Tom Hardy on her Instagram account on Thursday with text over the *Revenant* star's face reading, "Love you now and always helen."
Mirren's post comes amid multiple reports of behind-the-scenes drama on the Paramount+ show in which Hardy portrays a fixer for a London crime family headed by Mirren's character.
Puck initially reported that Hardy had been fired from *MobLand* following the completion of its second season, which has yet to debut on Paramount+. A source close to production later claimed that Hardy "refused to come out of his trailer for hours at a time" in a statement to *THR*.
However, *Variety* reported Thursday that Hardy "was not fired' and that "the door is not closed for season 3 and things are being worked through creatively," citing a source close to production.
That same report addressed rumors of tension between Hardy and Mirren, with a source claiming that although Hardy's alleged tardiness was "frustrating" for the *Thursday Murder Club* star, there is no notable animosity between the two actors.
"I know she's said to him a couple of times, 'Come on, Tom, we've been here for ages, let's get on with it,' but she's never appeared to be anti-Tom," the source told the outlet.
Tom Hardy allegedly kept 'MobLand' cast waiting 'for hours' by refusing to come out of his trailer

Why Helen Mirren 'didn't like' playing a dying woman in 'Goodbye June'

Another source close to the production denied any notion that the two performers could have acted unprofessionally over political disagreements. "Helen is not that sort of person," the source alleged to *Variety*.
"If she had a problem with Tom, she would have said to his face, 'Look come on, let's just stop wasting everyone else's time and let's get on with it.' But that's probably as far as it went. She's not the sort of person who's going to get involved in a whole political situation. She just isn't. She certainly isn't going to be one who stamps her feet and says 'Well, I'm not coming back if he's in it.' It's just not her."

*The Daily Mail* previously reported that Mirren was upset by Hardy's lateness in December. Two days later, Mirren shared a similarly supportive post about Hardy on Instagram.
"Things I love," she wrote before noting her affection for "Tom Hardy for his brilliance on screen" and "his dedication off screen" as well as "his good heart" and "especially the HardyHugs I get when onset with him which is not nearly enough in my opinion."
In the same post, Mirren cheekily listed "bad journalism" in the category of things she hates.
