Former "No Demo Reno" host Jenn Todryk is offering an update on the severity of her Hashimoto's disease and hypothyroidism.

The HGTV alum said an October 2025 blood test uncovered an antibody level in the thousands.

"The number is supposed to be zero," Todryk said in one of multiple videos shared on her Instagram Story on April 7, according to TV Insider.

The test is used to determine whether someone has Hashimoto's disease, an autoimmune condition that prompts the body’s immune system to attack the thyroid, the leading cause of hypothyroidism.

The home renovation expert, was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2014 and Hashimoto’s disease in 2017, TV Insider reported.

Todryk said taking a drinkable hormone-balancing supplement that she co-created, helped her "significantly." She said she plans to consult with a doctor to determine whether the product actually helped lower her antibody count and will continue to give her audience health updates.

In a Sept. 4 episode of her "You, Me & Mike" podcast, Todryk said she is in a constant state of inflammation and gets sick often. While she feels good most days, she said around once or twice a month she'll feel brain fog and severe fatigue, which she compares to pregnancy exhaustion.

"It's a part of my identity. It's part of my every single day. I think about what I I think about me having Hashimoto's every single day. There's not a day that goes by where I don't remember that I have this thyroid autoimmune disorder," she told her husband and podcast co-host Mike Todryk.

HGTV's "No Demo Reno" ran for three seasons between March 2021 and December 2021. The series followed Todryk handling home renovations with little to no demolition.

What is hypothyroidism?

Hypothyroidism is a condition where the thyroid gland doesn't make enough thyroid hormone.

Symptoms may range from mild to severe, with the common symptom being a slower metabolism, causing the body to burn fewer calories than normal, and leading to weight gain, the American Thyroid Association says. Other possible symptoms include: extreme fatigue, constipation, dry skin, cold sensitivity, menstrual irregularities, inability to focus and muscle aches, according to Dr. Shuchie Jaggi, a physician who specializes in endocrinology, and the co-director of the thyroid program at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Hypothyroidism is primarily identified through laboratory testing, as many of these symptoms could be signs of other underlying conditions.

"Hypothyroidism is actually quite common and tends to increase with age," Dr. Erik Alexander, MD, the chief of the thyroid section at Brigham and Women's Hospital and professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, previously told USA TODAY in 2025. "It also tends to be a bit more predominant in women than in men."
