Jennifer Lopez stepped out in New York City on June 1.

She's currently promoting her film Office Romance.

The multi-hyphenate sported a half-up, half-down hairstyle.

Jennifer Lopez revived a rare hairstyle as she promoted her upcoming film Office Romance. Stepping out for a day of press in New York City on June 1, Lopez paired the unexpected 'do with a top straight out of the 2010s.

In a new Instagram carousel, the singer and actress modeled a strapless lace bustier with peplum trim. The flouncy silhouette was particularly trendy during this decade, although it's made a comeback in recent years with stars like Emma Stone, Nicole Kidman, and Rachel McAdams cosigning the revived trend.

Lopez styled her ivory top with a black maxiskirt, coordinating with a black bow in her hair. The Hustlers star's highlighted tresses were done in a half-updo, showing off her diamond-encrusted gold hoops.

The last time Lopez wore a half-updo was at a charity event in March, though prior to that, she hadn't styled her hair that way since January 2025, when she attended a brunch hosted by Variety. Lopez typically wears her strands loose—either straightened or wavy—though she also loves an updo every now and then, such as the sleek bun she opted for at the 2026 Oscars.

Last week, Lopez made a surprising confession as she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! On the show's May 27 episode, she revealed how often she visits Target and Costco.

"I don't go to stores a lot," Lopez said of Target. "I do once in a while, but not a lot."

Kimmel then inquired about whether she'd ever been to Costco. "Years ago," Lopez confirmed. "Did you love it?" He asked. "It was alright. It was fine," she replied.

In the same interview, Lopez discussed how her twins, Max and Oskar, just finished high school.

"Tomorrow one of them graduates," she said of her children with ex-husband Marc Anthony. "Don't talk about it, because we start crying," Lopez joked, adding that she's "been crying for two months."
