- Kristin Davis said that she and her *Sex and the City* costars don't remember what happened in the *And Just Like That* series finale.

- Her costar Mario Cantone said that the season 3 finale "wasn't a series finale," and Davis agreed.

- Davis also said that she believes "we're going to do something else" in the world of *SATC*.

Kristin Davis isn't ready to say goodbye to the world of *Sex and the City*.

During a new episode of her podcast *Are You a Charlotte?*, the actress behind Charlotte York and her former costar Mario Cantone discussed their perception of the end of *And Just Like That* after the series abruptly ended following three seasons in 2025.

Cantone said that he hoped *And Just Like That* would persist beyond 2025. "I just wanted one more season," he said.

"I agree, I absolutely wanted one more season too!" Davis concurred.

Cantone added, "I don't care what anybody says. That was not a series finale. It was a* season* finale, but that wasn't a *series* finale."

Davis shared her costar's sentiments. "I agree with you," she said. "I haven't watched it because I'm in denial, and I would like to remain that way."

The actress also opined that the last ep of *And Just Like That* didn't feel memorable enough to serve as the conclusion of the entire series. "I know what was on the page, and I know that when the girls and I got together for dinner and we were like, 'Wait, what did we do and what did we do [in that episode]?'" she remembered. "And we couldn't really remember, which is not a good sign."

"This is not based on anything real," the actress qualified. "In my mind, we're going to do something else. I don't think it'll be a whole season, but I think we will do something else."

The actress noted that the rights to *Sex and the City* are currently in limbo, and that showrunner Michael Patrick King has not indicated that he hopes to revive the series again in any capacity.

"No one knows who owns us right now, you know, so there's that that's got to be worked out," she said. "And I don't think Michael — I saw Michael, I've seen him a couple of times, [and] he doesn't say that [we'll return]. But I'm just, in my hopeful way, you know, going with that."

Davis said that *Sex and the City* has persisted too long to end with an underwhelming finale. "I feel like we've been going for so long, you know, why finish now?" she said.

Cantone later declared that the show is worth whatever cost it incurs.

"I know we're an expensive show, but we're worth it," he said. "It's beautifully shot, it's like a movie. I mean, it's like there's no CGI or like that. It's just all New York. It's either studio sets or the beautiful locations of New York City, so that's thrilling. And then you've got these wonderful actresses and actors."

Davis agreed. "I think we're worth it too, darn it."
