- Mel C shared which Spice Girl had "the best success rate" with men in an interview last week.
- "She's a cool girl and she doesn't get too wrapped up in things," Mel C told *Cosmopolitan*.
- Mel C also opened up about dating in the spotlight.
It's safe to say all of the Spice Girls had "girl power," but it appears one member of the iconic musical group was highly popular among male admirers.
When asked who was "the most boy crazy" Spice Girl during a sit-down chat on *Cosmopolitan*'s "Blind Date" series on May 21, Melanie "Mel C" Chisholm — a.k.a. Sporty Spice — said Melanie "Mel B" Brown had "the best success rate."
"I'm trying to find a better way of putting it," Mel C replied after having a laugh over the "boy crazy" question. "Mel B... yeah, yeah. She was very popular."
Mel C also insisted Mel B gave the best dating advice, "because she's a cool girl and she doesn't get too wrapped up in things."
Mel C and Mel B, known as Scary Spice, were a part of the '90s girl group with Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), and Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice). The women have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making them the bestselling girl group of all time.

That notoriety, however, can lead to a skeptical nature when it comes to dating. Although she's in a happy relationship with Australian model Chris Dingwall now, Mel C said it was definitely tough to know whether someone was actually into her or just liked the idea of dating a Spice Girl.
"I've never wanted to admit it, but I think that potentially has happened," she told *Cosmo*'s editor-in-chief, Willa Bennett.
She added that being in the spotlight made dating "more difficult," saying, "You feel so self-conscious when you go out publicly and then you can't meet strangers in private."
Geri Halliwell apologized for quitting Spice Girls for 'stage drama'

Mel C was in a longtime relationship with property developer Thomas Starr, from 2002 to 2012, and they share a daughter, Scarlett, 17. She also dated music producer Joe Marshall, from 2015 to 2022.

Of Dingwall, Mel C told the *Life Uncut* podcast in November that he is "a real gentle soul."
"He's one of those people that just it doesn't get all up in your business, you know? He's quietly in the sidelines being uber-supportive," she said. "And he's wonderful."
Mel C's new album, *Sweat*, is out now.
