Who doesn’t love some clever marketing?! With the first weekend of Coachella 2026 just around the corner, festivalgoers in their fringed attire are headed to the SoCal desert. But their hot, hours-long drive to Indio, Calif., where the Coachella Valley Music Festival is famously held, won’t be without views: Artist billboards have been popping up along Interstate 10 to hype fans up for the festival weekend and tease what’s to come with their respective performances. Debuting bold billboards that reflect their visual aesthetic has become a rite of passage for Coachella performers. Plus, they make for a great photo op.

From Sabrina Carpenter’s cheeky reminders to Major Lazer’s Ozempic call-out, Yahoo rounded up the buzziest and boldest Coachella 2026 billboards.

Sabrina Carpenter

Nobody does marketing quite like Sabrina Carpenter! Carpenter is returning to the desert, this time as a Coachella headliner — and she’s going all out with two billboards. The first reads, ā€œThis next billboard is gonna blow your,ā€ with the word mind aptly removed, while the second billboard showcases a photo of Carpenter in a sparkly silver minidress, doe-eyed and lying down. The billboard itself also transitions from day to night, with actual light bulbs turning on when the sun sets.

ā€œIt’s the most ambitious show I’ve ever done,ā€ Carpenter told Marc Jacobs for Perfect. ā€œIt’s probably the most time I’ve ever had to actually just sit down and talk about a show as I’m building it. Most of the time, you’re really quickly thrust into physical rehearsals, but this time around, we started this process around seven months ago. So it’s been a long journey. It will be very special.ā€

Justin Bieber

It’s a moment we’ve patiently been waiting for: Bieberchella. Justin Bieber will soon descend on Indio, where he’ll take the main stage as a Coachella headliner. The ā€œYukonā€ singer, who performed two surprise shows in Los Angeles leading up to the festival, is amping up beliebers with a simple yet very on-brand billboard emblazoned with the word ā€œSWAG,ā€ a callback to his Grammy-nominated album released last July.

The ā€œDaisiesā€ singer isn’t the only Bieber getting in on some desert marketing. Billboards for Rhode, Hailey Bieber’s beauty brand, have also been spotted on Interstate 10. Both Biebers also appear on separate billboards marketing the singer’s clothing brand, SKYLRK.

Katseye

Making their highly anticipated Coachella debut is Katseye. The global girl group has made its fair share of headlines recently, after member Manon Bannerman announced that she’d be taking a ā€œtemporary hiatusā€ to focus on her ā€œhealth and wellbeing.ā€

While Bannerman’s absence sent ripples through the fandom, remaining members Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza and Yoonchae Jeong will still be headed to the desert — and their Coachella billboards nod to two of their singles: ā€œSahara’s Gnarly,ā€ written in dripping neon green font, references their track ā€œGnarly,ā€ while an image of Mona Lisa sipping from a teacup promotes their newly released single ā€œ[Pinky Up].ā€

Karol G

This year, Colombian reggaeton singer Karol G will be making history as the first Latina artist to headline Coachella. The ā€œĆšnicaā€ hitmaker has an impressive 10 billboards along Interstate 10, including a Tabasco-esque bottle of hot sauce called ā€œSpicy Latina Flavorā€ that spells out ā€œKAROL Gā€ and a sparkling nameplate necklace with the word ā€œBichotaā€ on it. In 2020, she told Billboard that the word, which is also the title to one of her songs, refers to ā€œa moment of feeling sexy, flirtatious, daring, strong, empowered, and to a certain extent, [it] translates into personal motivation and self-confidence.ā€

The Latina superstar has been prepping for her performance since November and started rehearsing in January, as she told Vanity Fair last month, ā€œIt’s going to be so beautiful. I’ve been working so hard, like dreaming about this night. It has been hard, a lot of work, a lot of preparation, a lot of details. Beautiful details. It’s gonna be amazing.ā€

Addison Rae

First-time Coachella performer Addison Rae’s billboard is so her. With its cheeky $1 million bill design, Rae’s billboard features a photo of her face in the center, ā€œAddisonā€ in her signature font and, of course, the words ā€œThe United States of Addisonā€ on the right side. The fact that she also has a song called ā€œMoney is Everythingā€ makes this billboard even better.

Major Lazer

Major Lazer, the DJ group comprising Diplo, Ape Drums and Walshy Fire, kept their Coachella billboard straight to the point. ā€œCome shake that lil ozempic ass sunday 6pm at major lazer,ā€ reads the blue iMessage bubble.

FKA Twigs

Alongside three futuristic images of herself, English avant-pop artist FKA Twigs’s billboard shows checkmarks next to recent career milestones. She took home her first-ever Grammy Award this year for Best Dance/Electronic Album for Eusexua and kicked off her accompanying Body High Tour last month. As for the checkmark next to ā€œVisaā€? Well, last year, Twigs had to cancel the North American leg of the Eusexua Tour and drop out of Coachella because of ā€œongoing visa issues.ā€ Thankfully, she’s got that all under control now.
